Overview
Founded in 1992, the Pacific International League (PIL) is a premier Summer Collegiate Baseball League in the Northwest, sanctioned by the National Baseball Congress (NBC). It allows NCAA-eligible unpaid players, former professionals, and college graduates to participate. Formed by franchises from the previous Northwest Amateur Western International League, it operates as a federally recognized Non-Profit Corporation with a community-oriented philosophy, emphasizing amateur athletes developing alongside experienced players and supporting youth baseball. Each team plays twenty-four (24) league games in addition to an extensive non-league schedule, with teams using wooden bats and minor league specification baseballs.
