Overview
Founded in 1950 as the Walter Johnson League and rebranded to Kansas Collegiate League Baseball (KCLB) by 2025, this is a highly competitive, eight-team premier summer collegiate baseball league hosting top talent from across the country since 1999. It operates independently in the Greater Wichita Area as a non-profit, with a season from June to July (postseason in August), including an All-Star game and home run derby. The league emphasizes a true minor league atmosphere, community events, and youth initiatives, with strong postseason success (e.g., 2023 national champions El Dorado Walnuts). Games are family-friendly and affordable.
