Founded in 2019, the Florida Gulf Coast League (FGCL) is a non-profit collegiate summer baseball league in Southwest Florida, focused on player development with instruction from former MLB players, coaches, and scouts. It features 6 teams playing an up to 25-game schedule from early June to mid-July, complete with an all-star event and playoffs. The league emphasizes colorful and cultural teams, providing a platform for collegiate athletes to advance their skills.
