Overview
Founded in 2003 with play beginning in 2004, the Florida Collegiate Summer League (FCSL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit wood-bat collegiate summer baseball league in Central Florida, partially funded by Major League Baseball. It features 6 teams, drawing top NCAA-eligible college players to advance their skills toward professional careers. The season runs approximately 40 games from early June to late July, followed by playoffs, with a motto of "Pure Baseball." As part of the National Alliance of College Summer Baseball, the FCSL has produced over 500 drafted players and 37 MLB alumni in 20 years, emphasizing player development, community involvement, and scout exposure in a family-friendly environment.
