Overview
Officially formed in 1923 with roots dating back to 1885, the Cape Cod Baseball League is the premier collegiate summer wooden-bat league in the nation. It is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that recruits top college players from across the US representing all NCAA divisions. The league operates with volunteers and features a 44-game regular season plus a best-of-three postseason (quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship). It is NCAA-sanctioned since 1963 and emphasizes player development, community involvement, and producing MLB talent, with over 350 active alumni in the majors.
